Xenforo is one of the new forum software scripts that just went out of beta and also went commercial at the same time at a wopping $140!

Now I believe xenforo is worth the price mainly because of how clean everything is and how it just work's out of the box, it's also quite easy to skin(when you actually have a license, can't do shit unless you know where anything is and playing with a demo for a skin design is pointless..)

Also don't be fooled into how the posts look, they can be modified to any way you want them to look and you can go further than you could with IPB or VBulletin. Of course this is just an observation as you can modify any forum software to do your bidding

What many people will like minus it's already into IPB and VB and just about any forum software out their is that it has Twitter and Facebook logins, yup no need to register these days and saves ya about 5 minutes.

What make xenforo better than IPB or VB (just talking about commercial for now) is that it's under a newer framework so it's more than likely that it'll be superior and go beyond those 2 in just under a year or more and this is not a joke. But IPB or die hard Vbulletin fans will always say, hey our software's the best get over with it and join our (the dark) side!

There's also another script out their called Ninjapost, however I've never seen it actually in use but it does look simplistic and very twittery.

Also, if you're going to integrate use the zend framework as for right now that's what it's built on. But kier and mike said it will be on a custom framework sometime in the late feature but they said that it might not change at all.
