Almost every engine has want's a Final Fantasy Vi engine mainly because it shows how a good "RPG" plays out and also because of it's complexity. I have no idea if this was the first game to fully utilize Mode7 for an actual world map minus Mario Kart racing which is using mode7 but for racing not a world map with true 360 Degree turns.
I want to completely finish this template for EGM but Mode7 is on the possibilities list because of the fact there is still C# and the source code but have no idea if I can just code directly with C# and add it to the actual game.. if not I'm sorry but this template will just have sadly the same world map just in 2D not 2.5D.
The good news is EGM is capable of everything else.
Now here's the realistic features for the first release.
- RPG Management
- FF Dialog box
- Menu(stat's and change feature only)
- Random encounters
- Battle System(Only shows the stats, menu text, and atb) no actual battle functions yet
